The Elektroshock is a passive Secondary-slot weapon for the Heavy. It allows the player to be revived, albeit with much less Health. Upon revival the wearer receive a ~3 second Über and speed boost, but loses all his ammo and cannot attack until the boost is over.

The weapon starts out with 0% charge, and is charged by dealing damage towards other players. Once it reaches 100%, the wearer can be revived. However, the wearer will not be revived if he is gibbed.

This weapon was one of the very first added weapons, and one of the few that survived until this very day to the mod.


This item is great for escaping a gank. Or for a surprise attack! A good example is a payload map. You're pushing the cart, and you get ambushed by enemies. You could die, and would have to wait to recover, hence giving the enemy an advantage. But by reviving, you can do a great combo with the gloves of running urgently (GRU), rush to a healthkit and ammopack and attack the enemies, which are weakned by the previous enemies they ambushed.
