Passively, having this weapon equipped will make weapon switch faster and increase the push force taken from self damage, allowing greater rocket jumps. Compared to a standard shotgun, it is more accurate and mini-crits during a rocket jump, at the cost of reduced damage and clip size.

Has previously mentioned, this weapon works like an inversed reserve shooter, being that it hurts targets while the user is in mid-air, as opposed to hurting mid-air targets. It's a great weapon when in a combo with the Matador or Rocket Jumper, and is really useful in open maps like thundermountain and viaduct.
